Some of the most outstanding marvellous engineering and artistic features of the Vijaya Vittala Temple Hampi include –

These seem to be hollow pillars. And no one till date could fathom how come they produce these different musical sounds!!
  2. Stone Chariot – Almost an icon of Hampi itself, the Stone Chariot of Vijaya Vittala Temple is another example of the architectural excellence of it’s time. Although it appears to be carved out of a monolith. But is is made of several inter joint rocks, in such a skilful manner, that no one is able to see the joints.
  3. Most Intricate Carvings – There is no parallel to the intricacy of the carvings found on Vijaya Vittala Temple that I have seen in India. Some little murals here are so magical that they depict several different things when viewed from different angles. Like a monkey, a frog, a flower and a snake all in one single figure. There are also miniatures of the temple carved on it’s own walls!!
